Sock Monkey begged and begged to go fishing, so he was finally loaded up into the truck along with his little fishing pole and taken to the boat dock to wet his hook. Upon arriving, Sock Monkey being the curious fellow that he is, was all over the boat dock and the boat landing area. Climbing up on the railings and swinging around. As you can see by a few of the photos, we had to save him from falling into the muck (it being low tide) more than once.
After finally settling down and sitting patiently, he was rewarded with a small yellow fish, but it was way to "hard" to eat, so we threw it back.
Sock Monkey had a wonderful time though and has since settled into the Ficus Tree in the den for an early afternoon nap. No doubt hes dreaming of all the trouble he's going to cause this afternoon!
